Research studies show that we have over half a million convicted sex offenders in the United States alone. About 60% of them are living and working all around us while involving themselves in our daily lives.

The sad truth is that the average sex offender has numerous (30-150) victims before his first arrest. The vast majority of these offenders flunked the mandated treatment program if they were forced to participate at all and are very eager to re-offend over and over.

With these staggering statistics in mind, it comes as no great big surprise that there are millions of victims and survivors of sexual abuse needing resources for healing and many of them find it hard to have the courage to seek help and use resources.

Child sexual abuse made many lasting effects in my life. I have overcome many obstacles along the path to healing but the road is a never ending one. It only becomes smoother and less rocky as I travel along. Sharp corners and pot holes show up at any time and since there are few detours, I must face these obstructions and work around them each day.
